FAQs

  • Not at all. Our Newborn course covers topics relevant from when your tot is just hours old, so doing the course while pregnant will hopefully mean you feel much more prepared for their arrival

  • Babies change daily, and so do the health challenges they throw at you. When you contact us, let us know how old your tot is, and we can make sure the course is as relevant to you as possible.

  • Often, antenatal courses do not cover much, if any, child health information. Tot Health is always delivered by a qualified GP, and aims to pick up where your antenatal course left off. The Tot Health course does not cover pregnancy, labour or maternal health topics.

  • The course is £145 for the first two people, and £40 for each additional person.
A £50 deposit is required to secure your booking.

  • We come to you - the two and a half hour course is held in your own home within the GL postcode area (meaning no babysitter is required!). Please ensure there is enough space for everyone to sit comfortably and potentially take notes.

  • The aim is for it to feel like an informative discussion with a friendly GP. We include photos, videos and practical demonstrations, and you are provided with written handouts including the most important points, on which you can take your own notes if needed - we cover a lot of information, but aim to provide you with only as much as you absolutely need.

  • The course is informal, and can happen around your kitchen table, in your living room, wherever there is enough space for everyone.
Wi-Fi access will be required and please provide details of any parking restrictions, if relevant.

  • The minimum course attendance is two people. The maximum is 10 people as the course is interactive and larger groups will benefit slightly less.

  • Bank transfer or via our Paypal Me link.
A deposit of £50 is required to secure your slot, and the remaining balance is due no later than 48 hours before the course, once you know how many people will be attending.

  • The £50 deposit is non refundable. But if you need to reschedule with more than 48 hours notice, we will work with you to try and find another time that suits.

  • The aim of the course is to give you enough knowledge to feel more confident dealing with the most common child health problems. It is not intended to be a replacement for formal GP assessment or emergency care if your child becomes unwell.
The contact details provided are for the purpose of arranging courses, or for any general queries. We will not be able to answer any specific medical questions, and will not be able to provide any medical care.
